VLC Stereo to Mono Permanent Fix Solution

 vlc, i manually need to set every video to mono from setero voice, any fix

Here is the step-by-step fix:

1. Enable the Mono Downmixer (The Permanent Fix)

This forces VLC to take all audio channels and combine them into one before sending them to your speakers.

  1. Open VLC and go to Tools > Preferences (or press Ctrl + P).

  2. At the bottom left, under Show settings, click the All radio button.

  3. In the left sidebar, navigate to Audio > Filters.

  4. In the list on the right, find and check the box next to Stereo to mono downmixer.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Important: Restart VLC for this to take effect.
